We are conducting a clinical trial to learn whether a statin (low-risk medication used to treat high cholesterol) may be helpful in preventing melanoma from spreading to other organs. We are hoping to see that atorvastatin helps prevent the recurrence and spread of melanoma in patients who are at high-risk.
